We are looking to hire someone for temporary summer help starting ASAP. Essentially we need help flipping some beds, pulling weeds, and cultivating. Employment extends until we feel that the farm is caught up for fall successions. About the Farm: Our farm is called Aeonian Farm, 1.5 acres of diversified vegetables in organic production. Though we are not certified, we only use OMRI certified amendments, organically listed seeds, and USDA organic certified compost to build soil and grow high quality produce. Our farm is hand-tended, with minimal mechanization, which gives our work a low environmental impact. We use no-till methods to limit the disturbance of the soil, and we have a solar-powered drip irrigation system to efficiently conserve water on the farm. We are located in WESTPORT, MA. Compensation: $15/hr. Tenure + Schedule: Schedule is flexible, and employment could potentially last between 1 -3 weeks. Thanks!
