Janitor positions in Bolingbrook available immediately. Day, Afternoon, and Evening shift Available. $13.50/hour GENERAL FUNCTION: Under moderate supervision perform janitorial duties which involve cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms, hallways, and restaurant area. Sweep and mop floors, vacuum carpet, spot clean windows. CHARACTERISTIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Clean toilets facilities and keep restrooms supplied with towels and other items, Collect and dispose of trash from building. Clean and sanitize sinks and counter tops. Vacuum carpet, dust mop or sweep all hard floor areas. Damp mop all hard floor areas. Ability to follow instructions concerning various chemicals. SUPERVISION RECEIVED: Moderate supervision under standard operating procedures. Ability to function autonomously. SUPERVISION EXERCISED: No supervisory responsibility required. JOB SPECIFICATIONS: Ability to understand and follow verbal or simple written instructions. Ability to do strenuous work. General knowledge of housekeeping, tools, equipment and supplies. Minimum Education, Training and Experience Requirements: Elementary education (Elementary education is defined as the eighth grade). Up to 6 months experience helpful, but not required. On the job training acceptable.
