Join Us for Our 1st Muslim Charity Singles Mixer/Picnic in Central Park NYC | Sponsored by muzmatch, Where Single Muslims *Actually* Meet With the world finally opening up and getting back to normal, we’re excited to partner with muzmatch, the world’s leading Muslim marriage app, to host our first Muslim Singles Mixer. *All event attendees will receive 2 months of FREE Gold status, with access to full features. Join us on Saturday, August 28th at 4 PM in Central Park. This event will start behind the Metropolitan Museum of Art and all attendees will meet at the East Pinetum. It is very easy to spot and the area is rarely crowded. To get there, just walk on East 84th Street until you are behind the Metropolitan Museum of Art. You will end up on East Drive. The location is right behind East Drive before you get to the basketball court or softball field. We will be set up there with an orange table. You can also easily use your GPS to find the location. If you need a landmark, we will be adjacent to the Alexander Hamilton statue. This event will be a singles mixer picnic with the ages ranging from 23-39 for both males and females. The gathering will be kept casual, from the structure to the dress code (dress how you would at an average picnic in the park). The only structure will be that every 10 mins or so we will encourage people to move around slightly to mingle, but this will not be required if you are comfortable where you are. At the beginning of the event, we will just ask for your email and name and issue you a name tag and card. You can write down which person you like on your card and if it is a mutual match, we'll send you their email address so you can continue your conversation. This takes away any awkward exchanges. If you prefer not to do this, then just let us know at the beginning of the event. We will provide all snacks, finger foods, and drinks. Everything will be kept halal. For those wondering, we usually get a good balance of males and females at our events. The cost to attend is $14. All money collected will be donated to Mercy USA. They are an Islamic charity that does great work helping those in need. You must purchase your ticket through Eventbrite prior to attending. There is no need to print out your receipt. You can just show email confirmation when you arrive. There is a limit of 80 people for this event. Please note that you will be required to wear a face mask. If you want to take your mask off, then you will be required to show your proof of vaccination. We do not take responsibility for your well-being if you decide to attend our event. Please note, this is an outdoor gathering, and if there is a chance of rain, the event will be rescheduled to the following week. Refunds will only be given on a case-by-case basis. There will be no refunds 10 days prior to the event. We look forward to seeing you there!
