Description
Free top loading washer. I bought this new in 2000. Ex g/f would wash small loads that would be off balance, and after I kicked her out I realized that even normal loads were making it bounce around too much during the spin cycle, to the point of me having to sit on it & keep the water supply lines from being damaged. So I bought a new washer and figured I could change the springs on the old one; however, after checking out some youtube videos it became apparent that it was a job this novice wouldn't be able to do without help... 6 months later and the washer is still sitting in my garage.
It's clean and looks good for an old washer. When I replaced it she had still been performing well, except for the off balance spins. If you know Maytag washers and have the skills to change the springs, you can take it away, fix it and sell it. Otherwise I'll have to take her on my next dump run (like i did the ex :)
