Back-to-campus drag show Last year has been a lot! With a global pandemic, with the racial tension and resistance once again on the forefront, with the loss of millions of lives across the globe, and with millions of new ways we had to learn to cope with all these, often all by ourselves. We wanted to come together once before this fall semester starts, with all its uncertainty and skepticism, to mourn, cheer, rejoice, and express our collective anxiety for the year ahead. We present to you a show, yearly departed ECU style, that tried to encompass all these on august 13th at 6 pm. The event is hosted at Molly’s Community Café in Uptown Greenville. There is no cover or door fee, and food is available for ordering from Molly’s kitchen. You can tip the performers in cash or use their electronic tipping platform (they are not getting paid to perform and we request you to tip generously). Due to the recent rise in COVID cases, this is an invite and RSVP only event (50 max). Please wear your mask as the event is indoors (unless you are eating or drinking). We encourage folks to get vaccinated before the event if they are not already and bring an electronic proof of their vaccination card if possible.
