Lunch and Learn about Lexington County, SC. August 10, 2021 is the launch of the Newcomers and Community Club! Need to know more about Lexington County – where to eat, shop, dine, and play? How to connect as a newcomer or new resident? How to meet new friends/couples or participate in a book club and social gatherings? Well, the information you desire will now be available with the launch of the Newcomers and Community Club of Lexington, SC! Designed for residents of all ages, this new club will focus on your needs and provide you with all the information you need to know about Lexington. With experience in welcoming visitors and engaging residents to the area, the Lexington Chamber and Visitors Center is proud to host the first meeting of this new club. The gathering will be a “lunch and learn” format on Tuesday, August 10. Organizers will provide information on club offerings. For individuals wishing to participate in the club, there will be a nominal annual membership fee. We can’t wait to meet you and connect you with other newcomers! You’re encouraged to tell others about this new community service. To attend, please RSVP by Friday, August 6.
