BINGO for BOOBIES! Come support a great cause for Embrace Your Sisters and win prizes too! Over five years ago I watched one of my very best friends fight and lose her battle with breast cancer at the age of 44. She was a warrior for over five years before the disease ultimately won in June 2016. In that timeframe, I also watched her struggle not only with the endless doctor's appointments but the financial reality of trying to pay for everything while she was fighting for her life. Everything in the life of someone afflicted with cancer becomes a stress point. Monthly bills, paying for medical treatment, buying groceries, cleaning the house, taking care of family and pets, transportation to and from the hospital, the list is endless... I was introduced to Embrace Your Sisters around that same time and became an immediate fan of the organization. They help breast cancer survivors manage some of the every day life stresses so they can focus on fighting the most important thing, THEIR LIFE. Their donations truly make a difference to the people that have to fight this disease. So come out and join us on September 18th from 6:30 to 10 pm at the Elks Lodge as we raise money for people fighting breast cancer. Bingo for Boobies! Who doesn't love playing bingo, winning prizes and supporting a great cause? Pizza and soda/water included in the cost of a $45 ticket, open cash bar, 50/50 raffle and of course, prizes if you win!
