Please, oh please, can we forget politics for just a minute. Can we or dare we ask what is happening to our world? The beautiful world where we were not frightened? Frightened of violence erupting without rhyme or reason. Violence that wipes out lives and/or destroys statues, businesses or property. Frightened of new, unknown viruses reminiscent of the black plague of yesteryears. Frightened of vaccines quickly formulated in order to fight the new predicted illnesses. Frightened of other human beings because of their political choices. Frightened of other human beings who protest being told what to inject into their bodies. Can we please take a moratorium for just a day and think back rationally to a yesterday before Trump, before Biden, before Covid, before J&J, and/or Pfizer. For just a moment, can we try to forget Delta. Let's remember America survived Wars, Vietnam, Watergate, and assassinations. Americans survived Polio and HIV. Let's remember America survived and will again. Let's remember we still live in the Land of the Brave, and the Home of the Free. Let us not lose it because we are frightened. Let's believe in our country and other Americans.. And please, oh please, let America never forget, "In God we trust."
