Looking for advice on relocating / moving out

Hi there to everyone checking on this, thanks in advance for reading. Just looking for some advice on relocating myself out of Florida. I'm looking to move north, close (I always love it) to the area of west N. Carolina - east Tennessee - North Georgia (Chattanooga), or any other area with the FOUR SEASONS! I've been in Asheville, Morristown (TN) and other areas and I love it. I'm open to other Northern states. Little about me: I have a steady job, I've been working for Home Depot for 15 years, I own an small house (that I'm willing to sell) and I have no compromises or health issues whatsoever. My reason: re locate myself in any small town away from the stress, craziness and the greedy that comes with the big urbex... Any small town or city (with the same vibe)close to the mountains with the four seasons and the "Laid back feeling". Since I mentioned before, I could relocate to any town that's close to any Home Depot. My Need: I'm asking to anyone that live or had lived in an area like the previously mentioned, Or if you Know of any small town with friendly people, just let me know. I'd like to know about the area, the community, safety, economy etc etc, the same things you should look at when you move. I don't have anyone outside Florida, that's why so "expensive" and complicate for me to research in this matter, being the only option traveling to the places, which I did in some occasions but I cannot afford to do so every time I get vacations or the free time... So, please, any knowledge, any recommendations, "go here, go there, don't go here or there" would be greatly appreciated!! With no other reason to bother you, Thank you so much again! Sincerely, Marc.
