Press release from the Novato Unified School District: lbenjamin August 6th, 2021 8.6.2021 NUSD Extends Transitional Kindergarten Program The Novato Unified School District is excited to announce that the opportunity for Transitional Kindergarten for the 2021-2022 school will be extended to children whose birthday falls outside the December 2nd cutoff. As NUSD moves towards Universal TK in the 2024-2025 school year, NUSD chose to extend the opportunity to children for the 2021-2022 school year. Families interested in enrollment in NUSD's Transitional Kindergarten program for the 2021-2022 school year can submit information online through this form. Placements will be offered as space permits based on birth date. Students will be prioritized based on the date of their 5th birthday's proximity to the December 2nd cutoff. NUSD offers a Transitional Kindergarten program at each of its elementary school campuses.  All TK classes are full day programs that focus on developing 21st century skills.
