I know how important it is to find quality child care. It is just as important for parents to feel good about the child care experience with no worries, as it is for each child to feel safe, happy and loved in their experience. I am a retired homeschool mother, with an early childhood education background. I worked for one year in a commercial child care facility and I have provided excellent in-home child care for the past nineteen years. I truly love all of the children whom I am and have been blessed to care for and have wonderful references, upon request. I also have worked with the Sunday school program at our church. I am interviewing and accepting applications for several openings for full time care for infants and up. I am available Monday through Friday, days only please, but specific hours are somewhat negotiable. I provide safe, fun, educational and loving care in a smoke-free environment. I use many techniques to make learning fun and exciting. I am pretty laid back and I use every opportunity as a learning experience and encourage a child-led approach. That is, if a child shows an interest in a particular theme or subject, I do my best to incorporate that into our daily activities. Though we focus on many educational experiences, we keep things fun and light because I believe that children learn best when they are having fun! I include breakfast, lunch, and two snacks and we have special parties to celebrate birthdays and holidays. I keep a low child to teacher ratio so I can create a personalized plan for each child. I do my best to assist you in preparing your little ones for the next phase, whether it is potty training or school, in a loving, encouraging, and fun environment. I provide daily take-home sheets to let you know about your child's day, along with occasional pictures to share.
