Looking for a Community Garden Manager who will help us maintain and grow our community garden. The Garden of Promise raises produce for donation to local social service agencies, food banks and shelters in downtown Martinsburg WV. The Garden also hosts several resident gardeners seeking to learn more about gardening. We have a fun crew of volunteers who help when they can, but we need some skilled help on the day-to-day activities of the garden.
Soon, we will be expanding the garden to include a Therapeutic Gardening space for community residents and medical patients who would benefit from a peaceful garden space. We have funding for our expansion projects and may be able to provide a small monthly stipend.
