All women band seeks amazing bass guitarist. Punk, post punk, early grunge, rockabilly, classic rock, early metal, gender bended crossover covers, and also original work. Pinup aesthetics, Grrrl Riot/Lillith Faire vibe. Must be able to sing too, as all of us do backups and at times switch off on lead vocals or perform duets/trio pieces. For legal stuff & branding etc., you must be 25 and up, band members range in age from 25 to 55. We don't care the age but do care about your level of talent as we need a strong rhythm section. Must be able to get along/work in a collaborative and highly creative, but professional atmosphere. (Iow The diva antics are for the stage show only, please.) Be able to think outside the box and contribute ideas to the band, and be willing to learn and perform new material and cross genres. We lost a member due to an injury and are reforming, and looking to add 2 more people and get a solid lineup and a tight set again, then we plan to gig at least once every other week, while completing our tracks for distribution through an indy label. Flexible practice days and times based on band members' mutual availability, but be committed to show up for the jam/practice once a week, in the East Meadow, Levittown, Massapequa or Bellmore area of Imbibe as you will, but please commit to perform and jam (i.e., work) while sober.
