Forming new group

  I am looking to start a band with the intent of working shows around the Vegas/ Los Angeles area. I am open to various types of genres. Personally I am thinking of more modern band set up that would include a DJ. The band would have to have a strong dance music sound if we are to be working shows.    We wouldn't necessarily have to work shows, if the group decided we wanted to focus on writing our own music that would aslo work. Basically right now it's just me so the direction of the group is still up in the air. I play guitar and backing vocals. My name is Nik by the way       I've been playing for a few years. Mostly I play alternative and dance music. Not really in to Metal. This is probably more of a learning project so profesional musicians need not apply.  Thanks for reading this
