Private family looking for full-time, live-out Housekeeper/Cook. The Housekeeper/Cook is responsible for overseeing the housekeeping/cooking duties of the household and ensuring that everything is clean and in good order at all times. The Housekeeper/Cook must be experienced and perform a high quality of work. The family consists of a couple and two young children, as well as a live-in nanny, and a friendly dog in a 5,000 sq ft home. Job Responsibilities: 1. Perform all traditional cleaning tasks around the home both inside and outside as appropriate. 2. Wash and dry clothing, linens, and towels. 3. Organize and maintain closets, cabinets, and living spaces. 4. Monitor cleaning supplies and restock as needed. 5. Run errands such as grocery shopping, sending packages, etc. 6. Cook healthy dinners for the family (4-5 nights/week). 7. Look after children on occasion. 8. Other duties at the direction of the homeowner. Candidate Requirements: 1. Ability to prioritize tasks 2. Self-starter — can work with little supervision 3. Housekeeping experience, especially in large homes 4. Cooking experience 5. Childcare experience 6. Reliable 7. Flexible 8. Trustworthy 9. Comfortable with dogs 10. Fluent in English 11. Clean driving record References required. Proof of COVID-19 immunization and regular negative test results required. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $15.00 - $22.00 per hour Benefits: Flexible schedule Paid time off Schedule: 8 hour shift Monday to Friday Weekend availability Supplemental Pay: Bonus pay COVID-19 considerations: Family practices frequent hand washing, frequent sanitizing of surfaces, and all visitors to home must wear masks. Family takes additional precautions outside of home by avoiding indoor activities. Family is fully vaccinated and tested regularly.
