I’m a single parent, who has just moved from Statesville, NC with his two children. I am in need of a part-time caregiver for both of my young children. Ages 3 and a half and 7. My children are easy going, super creative and have vivid imaginations! I’m looking for someone who is energetic, responsible and willing to go the extra mile to ensure my children are well taken care of and safe at all times until I return home from work in the evenings. I typically arrive around 7pm, a little flexible would be appreciated as my work does vary day today due to high demands. The days you will be asked to work are Monday-Fridays, with the possibility of a few weekend hours throughout every month. I would like to start off with a month trail period, but I am VERY much looking for long term care (1 year or longer). It is extremely important to me that my children mesh well and feel comfortable with you! Daily duties would consist of picking up both girls from their repetitive schools, around 3pm and bringing them to my house where you would assist my eldest with any homework that may be present. Other responsibilities would be to prepare snacks, and or dinner on any given day, and get the girls ready for bed. Please only respond to this posting if you have a reliable way of getting to and from work. My house is located near Celebration Shopping Center, north of Raleigh’s down town. There is a possibility that I provide my secondary vehicle for you to pick up my children with, or provide you with compensation for gas and milage. We can speak more about that detail upon the interview if selected. I do have a small dog, must not be allergic or afraid of dogs. He is a very good dog with a great temperament!
