On July 4th, I rescued a kitten from the road who was terrified and starving. She so weak, her back legs were buckling under her and she couldn't jump. I brought her back to health, and had her vet checked, vaccinated, and treated for fleas and ticks. I was planning on keeping her, but she will bite without warning sometimes and I can't bring her into a house with other animals that can hurt her. She needs to be an only cat. I'm not sure if it is a reaction to past abuse, or just an unfortunate personality trait, but I don't have the time or resources to rehabilitate her further. I would love for her to go to someone that can work with her and spend the time building that trust with her. She is very sweet and affectionate, its just sometimes she will stop purring and bite and hiss without being provoked. I have her separated from my other animals so she doesn't get herself hurt at the moment. I don't want to take her to a shelter, she would be considered a problem cat and be put down, and its not fair that she pay the price for what someone has done to her.
