This is a huge win for the democrats. Trump supporters (extremists) are at odds with traditional conservatives. Trump extremists are NOT conservatives. They are radicals in conservative clothing. Traditional conservatives (genuine republicans) want nothing to do with Trump. Each group is using the other. But the Trumpublicans and the Republicans are dependent io n each other for numbers. Both the Trumpublicns and the Republicans combined are already a significantly smaller group than the democrats. If Trump parts ways with the GOP, they are screwed. If the GOP ditches Trump, and we all know the the want to, they are screwed. The GOP may be able to recover in the long run, but short term, they are screwed. The GOP needs a bigger front man than Donald Trump. They are never going to find it. Trump supporters will never accept another leader. Trump will never give up his quest for fame and the profit that the presidency brings him. Trump has destroyed the GOP. If Trump leaves the party, or the party leaves Trump, the GOP will be much like a two legged table.
