I have access to a huge beech tree, 5 feet in diameter. I intend to slab it up using an Alaskan saw mill. I will be using wood for turning bowls. The landowner wants a table. I'm looking for someone with chainsaw experience who is willing to work for wood. We will be making live edge slabs the full width of the tree. You choose the thickness for your share. The tree is alive now so the wood will be green. It doesn't look hollow.
