Come out and enjoy the sweet sounds of steel pan while taking in the scenery at Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens. The Friends of Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens are inviting all park guests and visitors to listen to the East of the River Boys & Girls Steel Band as they perform at the park. Who: Anyone can register to sit in on this live performance! What: Listen to the sounds of the steel pan as members of the East of the River Boys & Girls Steel Band perform musical selections for all ages. They are a music training, performing and touring program for youth 12 to 18 years of age living east of DC's Anacostia River. Grab a seat and enjoy! When: Saturday, September 4, 2021 from 11:00am to 12:30pm Where: Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens, 1550 Anacostia Ave NE, Washington, DC 20019 What to Bring: reusable water bottle, sun protection, dance moves (you will want to get up and groove) **Masks are optional for all participating.
