A visible mending, fixing, and altering workshop for your favorite broken clothes or jewelry, immediately following our fashion free-build In honor of our new friendship with Portland Fashion Week, SCRAP invites you to our first ever MAKE IT LAST mending party! Bring one or two of your favorite clothing or jewelry items that need patching, altering, tweaking, darning, or just a little TLC. We will have all the materials you need, and volunteers and staff will be on hand to advise you on technique, but only you can make something truly your own. Why buy new when you can alter thrifts and make your favorites last forever? Hop on the visible mending bandwagon with SCRAP! We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization whose mission is to inspire creative reuse and environmentally sustainable behavior by providing educational programs and affordable materials to the community.
