Non-profit rescue group needs licensed drivers age 26+ in the Lake City area to assist with animal transport on Saturdays from a shelter in the Panhandle. Without transport, many of these precious dogs & cats would never leave the shelter. Last year alone, our transport saved 2,104 lives who may not have gotten out otherwise. For those who want to help and can't take animals home, this is the perfect volunteer position for someone who loves animals and wants to help save them. A few hours a month can help save precious lives! The volunteer would need to drive their own car and transfer animals from crates at Lake City. Then you'd drive them in your crates to Wildwood. If you don't have crates, we can get some for you. Drivers must have clean driving record with valid drivers' license, and no at-fault accidents or tickets against them.
