The day is finally here! Join us as we give to our youth and provide school supplies to ensure they are prepared for this school year! First, we would like to thank everyone who showed up to Meet Me At The Park and we are grateful to have received over 1k in donations to provide school supplies to children in our communities. The Community Growth Project is a growing 501c3 non-profit organization. We aim to attack educational, criminal justice, political, economical, and environmental issues from a different angle and provide a positive outlet in our generation. We are excited to partner with Pan African Connections, Impactful Touch, & Dallas- Fort Worth Urban League on this event to broaden our impact! What to expect from this event: - School supply giveaway - Spoken word from Black Caesar - A wide variety of vendors in Dallas -Networking opportunities -Resources for parents who want to find education and business programs to enlighten their children. - Journals and books from Dr. Wade - A good time with people who share the desire to help! Here is a list of supplies that we have purchased with donations and will be included in backpacks: 3-subject notebooks, Single subject notebooks, Wide-ruled Composition notebooks, College-ruled Composition notebooks, Index Cards, Pencils, Pens, Markers, Highlighters, Pencil Pouches, Dividers, Folders, Binders, Crayons, Glue, Scissors, Backpacks, Hand Sanitizer, Face Mask We can't wait to see you there! - Community Growth Project.
