Concert 4 the Cure is an annual fundraiser to fund pediatric cancer research at Vandy. Featuring Journey Resurrection and Eaglemanics. Concert 4 the Cure is an annual fundraiser to benefit pediatric cancer at the Monroe Carell, Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt and founded by the Stacey Family. Each year this event takes place in the Westhaven Community of Franklin, TN, presented by The Westhaven Foundation. This year’s event will occur on Saturday, September 11th. The Concert 4 the Cure, featuring Resurrection, a Journey Tribute, along with the Eaglemanics and Vic and the Spoils, will take place starting at 5:00 P.M. on Saturday, 11th on the Great Lawn at Westhaven’s Resident’s Club, located at 401 Cheltenham Avenue. Doors will open at 4:30 P.M. Get there early to get good seats!!! Proceeds from the Concert 4 the Cure will fund discovery grants at the Monroe Carell, Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt. Discovery Grants provide seed funding for cancer researchers to pursue bold ideas in the lab that can lead to breakthrough discoveries in the fight against cancer. Findings from preliminary research supported by these grants are essential to obtain funding from the National Cancer Institute (NCI) and other federal agencies that grant millions every year to support cancer research. This is an 18 years or older event. ----------- Parking: Limited parking is available at the Westhaven Residents Club, however there is plenty of on-street parking. We encourage Westhaven residents to walk if possible. Inclement Weather Policy: Concert 4 the Cure is an outdoor concert venue and is not covered. This show will be held rain or shine. If and when severe weather conditions exist, or are in close proximity to Magli Green, we may choose to delay the performance for up to an hour or longer before deciding to cancel or proceed. Guest and performers' safety is our primary concern! If weather conditions dictate, cancellation of the show may be required. We encourage all guests to dress for potential weather changes. Umbrellas are not permitted in the venue during concerts. Refund Policy: The show is rain or shine. No refunds or exchanges. Please review the Inclement Weather Policy above. NO OUTSIDE FOOD OR BEVERAGE IS PERMITTED. We encourage you to come early and check out our Town Center restaurants! Inside the event, you’ll find food trucks, cocktails, beer, wine & spirits available before and during the show. The General Admission area will be open seating so no need to bring your own.
