The new-look KAMANI lineup features drummer Nikki Glaspie (The Nth Power), drummer/multi-instrumentalist Robert “Sput” Searight (Ghost-Note, Snarky Puppy), bassist Matt Lapham (Roosevelt Collier Trio), guitarist Kat Dyson (Prince, The OG’s), and keyboardist Xavier Taplin (Ghost-Note), with Snarky Puppy keyboardist Shaun Martin due to stop by at various dates. The group was initially formed in late 2020 for a brief run of shows featuring Nigel Hall instead of Sput and Taplin. Justin Lee Schultz: 14 year old multi instrumentalist and child prodigy, Justin Lee Schultz from South African currently living in Durham, NC. Record shop by day. Live music venue by night.
