Back by popular demand! Beginning sewing classes help create new skills, friendships, and so much more! This class is designed to help the beginning sewer learn the basic hand stitches (including attaching a button) as well as machine stitching. Participants will learn their machine (if they have one) and the basics of using it. All supplies are included in the cost of the class. Participants even walk away with a free gift...in addition to their newly learned sewing knowledge. Participants that have their own (portable) machine will need to bring it to class. For those that don't have a machine yet, we are happy to provide one for you. Please note there are a limited number of "loaner" machines. Class size is limited to ten due to the one-on-one nature of the learning environment. This class is lead by Valerie Cook. Valerie has been a Master Seamstress since the age of 16; and is an award winning seamstress and costume designer. Valerie is happy to partner with the venue to bring these classes to the community.
