It is our take on a classic game. Harvest starts in August and can go through October. Join us for our second Poker Run through the Vineyards, Wineries and Tasting Rooms. In viticulture, veraison is the onset of the ripening of the grapes. The official definition of veraison is: "change of color of the grape berries". Each winery and select Willcox locations will be giving out cards when you check in. Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event? Anyone can enter the event free, however, you must be 21 to taste wine. Please bring ID. What are my transport/parking options getting to the event? There are plenty of free parking spaces in downtown Willcox. Are masks required? Masks are optional. Will you have hand sanitizer available? Sanitizer stations will be spread out throughout the festival. We are also asking all vendors to have hand sanitizer available for you. My partner doesn’t drink wine, can they get in? What about our designated driver? In both cases, that person will be allowed in. One per group. We will be offering beer. All beer profits support the Rex Allen Museum. If you have any questions at the festival, our front gate team has worked with us for the past 6 years and is well trained on how this festival will be operated. General Information: You cannot enter the event with alcoholic beverages purchased elsewhere or leave the event with an open container. Friendly Dogs on leash are welcome. He was born in Willcox in 1920 and spent his younger years playing and signing along Railroad Avenue. Stardom beckoned and although Rex found fame in music, movies and television, he never forgot his hometown. Since 1951, Willcox has celebrated Rex Allen Days the first full weekend in October.
