*** WILL ONLY CONSIDER APPLICATIONS WITH A COVER LETTER STATING WHY YOU WANT THE JOB. WAGS is a favorite local dog grooming and bathing shop. We have been in business for almost 20 years. We are looking for a hard working team oriented full time dog bather. General hours are 9/10a - 4/5p Tuesday - Saturday. It is a fast paced job that is very physical. You must be able to lift dogs in and out of the dog stalls and wash and brush out dogs all day long. It is very physical and we are a busy shop so it is a busy day bathing dogs. Most days are 20-25 dogs in the shop for baths or haircuts. You will do brush outs, de matting, nail trimming, ear cleaning, bathing with shampoo and conditioner, and drying and doing a final brush out. Dogs must leave perfect. It is not all glamor as dogs do pee and poop and you will be in charge of clean up and keeping the shop tidy and presentable. General cleaning ends every day before we leave.
