In this workshop we will cover the importance of growing your own food, how you can grow your own food and how to save seeds This workshop will be an informative and engaging class filled with information on the different ways that you can grow food in your space and why it is so important. We will also be covering the importance of seed saving and give you some instruction on how you can save seeds at home for future planting and sharing. Growing food and Seed Saving is such an important part of life, culture and sustainable futures. Coming together to learn about this will better insure that we are building food secure communities and taking our Food Sovereignty into our own hands. In partnering with Phoenix Local Organizing, Afri-Soul Marketplace and GrassRootz Bookstore to host this workshop ABC Mobile Education Center hopes to widen its community engagement and inspire our communities to be environmental stewards for this Mother Earth.
