Spackle and Paint Job for Small Surface Area

I just moved into a new apartment and am taking down a narrow shelving unit. I need the nail holes that will result to be spackled and painted over to match the rest of the room. The surface area that will need to be repainted is less than 14'' x 72''. Paint and spackle tools will be provided, but paintbrushes and rollers will need to be brought by whomever is hired. The painter hired will also be asked to wear a mask upon entering the home and through completion of this job.
