Health fair style event. Vendors, Speaker Panel presentation and Q&A, Overdose Prevention Training, Candlelight Vigil, Silent Auction International Overdose Awareness Day is a global event held on 31 August each year and aims to raise awareness of overdose and reduce the stigma of a drug-related death. It also acknowledges the grief felt by families and friends remembering those who have died or had a permanent injury as a result of drug overdose. Free Event- Will be in-person and live streamed on FB and YouTube. COVID-19 Precautions will be in effect. Masks are to be worn by all attendees. Vendor tables and speakers, Overdose Prevention training, Silent Auction and a Candlelight Vigil honoring those we have lost to Overdose and support those still living.
