We're celebrating nature + art with featured artist, "Davey SoArt" on the grounds of Holden Forests and Gardens. Journey On Yonder "JOY" is hosting a unique and fun way to experience nature. We're creating art in nature with artist Davey SoArt inside of the Holden Arboretum's Butterfly Room . Try not to be distracted by the colorful butterfly garden that sits just outside of the large glass window of the room. The artist will guide guests through their journey as they put paint to canvas. This family friendly event includes painting for the little artist too. Guests can take self guided walks to see the spectacular tree canopy and gardens. Wander through the whimsical stick sculpture - tilt a whirl, spot the fairy doors: magical garden gateways, and walk along the pond with colorful blooming flowers everywhere! The fun will also include information on benefits of healthy waterways and the environment with information on hand to help you to become more aware and a few easy steps we can take to bring about healthy changes. Adult tickets are $40.00Children 10 and under are $15.00Sunday, August 29, 20211:00pm - 6:00pmDoors open at 1pm. The Art & Soul paint session begins at 3pm Your ticket includes admission into Holden with plenty of free parking, paint party with refreshments and raffle give-a-ways. Guests will enjoy refreshments during the paint party. Casual comfortable attire and comfortable shoes are recommended. We are exercising covid safety through the event. Masks must be worn while inside of the building. Hand sanitizer will be on available for guests use.
