NORTH ANDOVER, MA — Stevens Pond tested over the bacteria limit and is closed for swimming, the town said Thursday. The next water sample cannot be submitted until Monday, so the pond will be closed to swimming until at least Tuesday afternoon. The beach and playground remain open. The scheduled swim meet will be rescheduled but details are to be determined. Updates will be posted on the pond's social media pages.
