Description
BROOKLYN, NY — For the first time since 2019, hundreds of artists in Gowanus are getting ready to open their studio doors to eager visitors.
Gowanus Open Studios, an annual tradition that has been run each year for more than two decades, will make its "triumphant" return to the neighborhood in October.
The popular weekend will be held this year on Oct. 16 and 17, according to organizer Arts Gowanus, who first announced the return earlier this summer.
The organization has been hard at work registering artists, businesses, sponsors and venues for the event, including with a registration party this week. They are accepting registration until September 1.
Here's what you need to know to get in on the action:
WHAT: "Gowanus Open Studios, aka GOS, is a free annual weekend event that takes place in October. WHEN: October 16 and 17.
WHERE: Studios stretch from Atlantic Avenue to 20th Street, and from Court Street to 6th Avenue, according to Arts Gowanus.
