Description
Jotham Burrello is a writer, teacher, publisher, organizer, farmer, and multimedia producer. He is the author of the Writers' e-Handbook and producer of So, Is It Done? Navigating the Revision Process. Other writing has appeared in literary journals, the Christian Science Monitor, and he's a proud winner of the New Yorker Caption Contest. He teaches writing at Central Connecticut State University, directs the Yale Writers' Workshop and the Connecticut Literary Festival, curates the Roar Reading Series, and is the publisher of the award-winning Elephant Rock Books. He and his wife raise boys and flowers on Muddy Feet Flower Farm in Ashford, Connecticut.
Lara Ehrlich is the author of Animal Wife, which won Red Hen Press's Fiction Award, judged by Ann Hood, and was published by the press in Sept 2020. Animal Wife has been praised by Electric Literature, the Kenyon Review, PANK, Kirkus, and others, including Lit Hub, who called the collection "remarkableā¦a standout in a season full of amazing new releases." She is also the host of Writer Mother Monster, a conversation series devoted to dismantling the myth of "having it all" and offering writer-moms solidarity, support, and advice as we make space for creative endeavors. Lara is the director of marketing for the International Festival of Arts & Ideas based in Connecticut, where she lives with her husband and daughter.
