The Westminster School, a eighth-grade private school located in Annandale, Virginia, announced today that they will be appointing a new Head of School from August 1, 2021. The Westminster community is thrilled to welcome the new head and looks forward to working together with her to create an inclusive educational environment for all students. Westminster private preschool is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Nancy Schuler, Her appointment follows the retirement of Mr. Ellis Glover, who gave forty-five years of service to the School. Prior to joining Westminster, Schuler has served as the admissions director for Westminster School since 1997, but her association with the school began long before that. Schuler attended Westminster from sixth through eighth grade, and after earning a Bachelor of Science degree in elementary education, she returned to become the third- and fourth-grade history teacher. As the new head of Westminster School, she is looking forward to working with the students and parents. The school will be undergoing a lot of changes in the next few months but she’s confident that she can continue to maintain our high level of excellence. The school has always been known as one that fosters the growth and success of its students through challenging them academically with a deep commitment to excellence. The new Head will bring his diverse skillset to help continue Westminster's legacy while also building on its strong tradition of educating leaders for change. The Westminster community is thrilled to welcome the new head and looks forward to working together with her to create an inclusive educational environment for all students. Ms. Schuler will be joined by a strong team of experienced faculty members, many who have been part of this school for decades, as well as some fresh talent.
