AUSTIN, TX — Funeral services have been set for Austin police officer Lewis "Andy" Traylor who died Saturday from his injuries after an on-duty crash on July 28.
A public visitation will take place from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday at Weed Corley Fish Funeral Home, 3125 N. Lamar Blvd., in Austin. Services will take place from 10 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. at Shoreline Church, 15201 Burnet Rd., in Austin. The services will be available to the public, officials said.
Austin Police Department will have a funeral procession for Officer Traylor at 7:45 a.m. Monday. The procession will start at Cook-Walden Funeral Home and will end at Shoreline Church, officials said.

Traylor died Saturday after he was critically injured when his patrol car struck a tractor-trailer during a priority call while on-duty in the 7800 block of Farm-t0-Market Road 969 near Decker Lane on Wednesday morning.
Traylor served with APD for nine years and was a U.S. Navy veteran. He is survived by his wife and five children, authorities said.
