Local High Tech, Semiconductor Company in Goleta is hiring! We are seeking a motivated individual for a full time position with the ability to work flexible hours between 30 and 40 hrs per week. This position is non-exempt, and would be eligible for overtime. The Inventory and Maintenance Technician is responsible for tracking incoming orders, maintain proper and safe storage area and for supplying semiconductor laboratories with general supplies. It would extend to placing orders as needed, maintain accurate spreadsheets and/or databases for inventory purposes. In addition, assignments may include simple maintenance task and custodial projects. This positon does required lifting items in boxes of up to 30 lbs for storage. Our ideal candidate prefers clean, orderly environments, detailed duties and responsibilities include: • Receive and inspect shipments for damage and conformity to item/PO/packing list match • Sign for deliveries & review shipments for accuracy • Shelve and store items in the appropriate section of storeroom or assigned area • Supply laboratories as needed • Obtain and fill orders for supplies from various laboratories • Maintain storeroom and other assigned areas in a clean, orderly and safe condition • Prepare and maintain electronic logs, records, and reports related to shipments, vendors, inventory, and assigned activities • Conduct periodic physical inventory of all stocked supplies; assist in maintaining proper levels of stock items as assigned Qualification: • US Citizenship • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs • Basic understanding of computerized inventory control systems • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word • Strong interpersonal skills that reflect a positive attitude and a sense of commitment our team • Ability to properly communicate through both oral and written correspondence • Ability to follow instructions • Ability to work independently, with little to no instruction or supervision, as well as on a team • Ability to operate a variety of stockroom equipment: pallet jacks, dollies, handcarts, various hand tools, etc… Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour Please respond with resume and cover letter.
