Trumpublicans (not to be confused with Republicans) feel powerless because Trump got his ass handed to him in the safest election in U.S. history. Despite the fact that the Trump administration claims credit for the vaccine, Trumpublicans are refusing to get vaccinated as a way of trying to regain some wee bit of power. But the anti-vaxer strategy is backfiring in a BIG way. Our nation is reinstating mask mandates and we are going back into lockdown. These are the VERY things that Trumpublicans protested just a few months ago. Anti-vaxers have become the ultimate hypocrites. Anti-vaxers are causing schools to re-close and businesses to shut down. Anti-vaxers are crippling our economy. Trupublicans are choosing to prioritize their devotion to the worlds greatest con man over their own nation. In this way, anti- vaxers are anti patriotic counter culture. Whining abut vaccines has become their only voice. Meanwhile, genuine republicans are feeling the backlash. The real republican party is left in a smoldering heap of shame in the wake of the Trump administration. I hope genuine conservatives re-find their voice soon. If not, our democracy will be comprised of 100% democrats.
