PAID (PRIVATE) JURY MEMBERS NEEDED FOR SATURDAY 8/14/21: $150 + $20 TRAVEL/PARKING ALLOWANCE Law firms sometimes have clients who prefer to settle cases using a one-day private jury. The parties agree to accept the verdict. Juror participants usually find it an interesting experience in a pleasant environment. We need to URGENTLY recruit jurors for TW0 private trials on Saturday, August 14th which will be conducted at a prestigious law firm in downtown New Orleans. Candidates must be able to attend EITHER from: 8:30am - Noon (4 hours) OR 1pm - 5pm (4 hours) You CANNOT attend both. MASKS WILL BE REQUIRED THROUGHOUT. Participants will receive a check for $170 at the end of the service (inclusive of travel/parking allowance). Refreshments and snacks will be provided. The travel/parking allowance is paid to you whether you incurred expenses or not. Jurors for this assignment must be registered to vote in Orleans Parish. Jurors must represent a variety of demographic qualifications including Race, Gender and Age which is why we request the demographic information below. No EXPERIENCE IS NECESSARY but potential jurors are subject to general screening rules: you must not have served on a mock trial or private trial in the past; you must not be related by blood or marriage to another juror; you must not be a member of the legal profession.
