Universal Fence Company, Inc. located in Hurst, TX is currently looking for a full-time Fence Installers to become a part of our TEAM. The position primarily consists of installing permanent and/or temporary commercial fence for various general contractors around the DFW metroplex. Preferred candidates would need to be familiar with general construction tools and practices while maintaining a safe and productive work environment. • Must have valid state driver’s license and safe driving habits (valid ID for non-drivers) • Must pass pre-employment drug test, physical and federal background check with no felonies or current warrants. • Perform duties safely at all times, maintain safe and clean work area, and attend all safety meetings. • Set fence poles often in concrete, install fence, and pull fence to manufacturer and Universal Fence Company specifications. • Ability to work in extreme climates. • Ability to apply common-sense understanding to carry out detailed written and oral instructions. • Ability to read, analyze and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, or procedural manuals. • Ability to consistently lift 50 lbs. overhead. • High School diploma or General Education Development certificate (GED) preferred, or one to two years related or construction experience or training.
