We are a group of older players/singers who have been getting together to make music purely for the fun of it just about every weekend, going on 10 years now. Or, at least we were until COVID shut us down for the past year and a half. Now, we're getting it going again, but with an added requirement - everyone must be either COVID vaccinated or have acquired their antibodies the hard way. Ours is a casual session, meaning that participation comes with no particular obligation - everyone is free to come when they can, with no problem when they don't. A typical session sees us with half a dozen or more folks and we have a decent enough place to play in. (And by the way, we all chip in 5 bucks per session, to help with the rent and the drinks and snacks which are provided.) Generally, our interest is in older rock and popular stuff, but we have no rules about that. For that matter, we don't have many rules at all. Our singers pick what they want us to play and we go with that. We are not "forming a band" and we don't do gigs and we've been doing it this way for more than 10 years. Not that experienced? No problem! Whether you were a road-weary rocker back in the day, or even if you've never yet played with others (but are thinking that you might be ready to take that next step), we would welcome you!
