I am so sorry to post this. I was on Barger at Golden Gardens tonight around 11:00. A few cars had stopped in front of me. One moved on and I saw a black Scottie run across to the other lane. The car in front of me was a policeman who got out to retrieve the dog, but before he could, a car coming the other direction did not see the dog and struck it. I am certain that the dog died instantly and did not suffer. I am now suffering having watched this happen, as I am sure the policeman is as well. Sadly the owners will also be suffering when they discover what has happened. I am so sorry for you.
