Events Delivery Driver - 16' Box Truck (Non CDL) Event Technicians - Setting up Tents for Parties and Events. * Do you enjoy a hands-on job? * Would you like to work outdoors? * Do you take pride in a job well done? * Do you have experience loading and driving a 16' Box Truck ? We are looking for Delivery Drivers who will provide friendly, professional delivery service to our customers. We currently have openings for TWO Full Time - Tent and Event Delivery Drivers in Skokie. We currently have openings for TWO Full Time - Tent and Event Delivery Event Technicians in Skokie. Driver Responsibilities Load/unload Tents, Tables, Chairs & other Party and Event rental equipment along with a crew of 3-6 people. The work is physically demanding. Assist with the installation of Tents, Dance Floors, Tables, Chairs and other rental equipment. Safely drive House of Rental's Box Truck to and from install sites. Provide friendly, professional delivery service to our customer's homes and businesses. Requirements • Mechanical Aptitude • HS Diploma or GED • Valid IL Driver's License and clean driving record • minimum TWO (2) years TRUCK driving experience • Assist with warehouse duties including but not limited to organizing, cleaning and maintaining rental equipment. • Able to move/lift/carry 40 – 70 lbs. The work is physically demanding but rewarding. • You need to be familiar with these delivery areas: Skokie, Wilmette, Winnetka, Evanston, Morton Grove, Glenview, Northbrook, Chicago, Highland Park, Mount Prospect, Arlington Heights, Park Ridge Competencies/Characteristics • Knows that the answer is always “YES” to any reasonable request • Promotes customer satisfaction • Team player and takes pride in a job well done • Has strong independent and teamwork skills • Must have weekend availability (Saturday and/or Sunday) with your team • Must have reliable transportation to work We Offer: * BCBS Health Insurance * PTO * Paid Holidays * Matching 401K * * Overtime opportunity in Summer * Consistent Work * Starting Pay rate: $16 / hour.
