Sammy is a sweet, 30lbs, 1 year old. Jack Russell Terrier/Hound mix who is currently in foster care with Diamond's Friends Pet Rescue and needs a furever home! This adorable girl is quiet and shy at first. She walks wonderfully on a leash, loves other dogs, and enjoys being outside. Sammy is still learning the ins and outs of potty training, but has been doing great under the guidance of her foster mom. We think she's likely never lived in a home before, but she is truly blossoming under her foster mom's care. She's also starting to learn some basic commands and is super smart, picking up on things very quickly! She's hoping to find a home that will continue working with her to help her become her best self. She is wonderful in her crate and loves to play with her toys. While she's not the biggest fan of the car and would prefer to keep her adventures to her own neighborhood, she would make a great walking or running buddy.
