NOW HIRING IMMEDIATELY- YARD HOSTLER IN THE CITY OF CHINO Shift: 8:30PM-5AM Pay Rate: $20.00 Yard Hostler Duties: • Yard hostlers will drive and maneuver yard goat & trailers from dock to dock switching out empty trailers with full trailers to keep production moving. • Safety is always the key, so driver must be safety minded, perform pre and post trips daily, chock rear wheels and be aware of safety hazards in all weather conditions. • Yard hostlers will check trailers before pulling away from the dock doors. • Ability to work in fast paced environment, moving approximately 50 moves per shift. Driver must have strong communication skills as they will be interacting and taking direction from dispatchers, or warehouse managers and drivers on a consistent basis through radio and on board computer system. • Keep dock bays swept and free of debris. During slow periods, pick up all trash in yard - keep a look out for nails and or bolts. Job Requirements Driver Requirements: 2 years or more Yard Hostling experience within the last 3 years.
