Rehoming Asian Vine Snake

Events

Reno NV

Description

Asian vine snakes are a special kind of colubrid from … Asia… rear fanged venomous harmless to most humans. These are a delicate arboreal species that require high humidity and a special diet. Asian vine snakes do not eat rodents and are nearly impossible to get to eat rodents in captivity. Their diet main consists of lizards and some fish, however I’ve never been able to successfully get this one to eat fish. It only seems to like lizards. I buy anoles from pet chain stores for about $8 a week for this animal. Some specialized reptile stores also carry anoles for feeders. It easily would eat 2-3 a week if I could afford that but is sustained on 1 a week just fine. Looking to rehome to someone who is aware and capable of their dietary and husbandry needs. Won’t be a large rehome price due to the cost of food for this animal Enclosure pictured also negotiable for sale
