Warehouse Associate/Forklift Driver

We are a large and well-established flooring company seeking a Warehouse Associate who is reliable, multi-skilled, and versatile to start immediately. 8:30am-5pm M-F Warehouse Associates’ Key Tasks, Responsibilities, and Qualifications: • Lift upwards of 50 pounds • Load and unload materials to and from designated storage areas such as racks, shelves, or vehicles • Sort through, pick through, stock, stage, and transport goods • Receive and fill orders or sell supplies, materials and products for flooring installers and helpers • Brace, pad, or strap materials when needed to prevent shifting and damage during transportation • Be forklift certified or willing to get certified for loading, unloading, and pulling stock and materials • Driver’s License • Use or learn Quickbooks for inventory tracking • Verify stock count accurately between what’s on the books with physical stock • Maintain organization and cleanliness of vehicles and warehouse • Flooring knowledge and experience is a BIG plus Nature and Scope: • Follow rules and instructions and seek guidance and clearance from supervisors when confused or unsure • Seek guidance and clearance from supervisor before deviating from protocol • Musts are positive attitude, responsibility, reliability, and willingness to learn Medical, dental, vision, paid time off, and life insurance benefits after 90-day probation period.
