Female Gerbil Available for Rehome

Female gerbil rehome: I have a sweet ~2 year old female gerbil I am trying to rehome. She will let you pick her up and is gentle. She was part of a bonded pair and the other gerbil recently passed away. I would give the gerbil, some toys and supplies and her glass tank to someone who could provide a good home for her- does anyone have a single female in the same situation who needs a companion? NOT FOR SNAKE FOOD. I am in eastern MA for August and NYC area in September and could transport the gerbil, tank and supplies a reasonable distance. Any interest or suggestions of who I could speak with or how to approach this rehome would be greatly appreciated
