Tangy is a stunning orange and white girl who has become very comfortable with her trusted friends while in her condo. New people and new places are definitely not on her to do list! She prefers her friends to visit her in her safe place and hasn't been comfortable with exploring new surroundings. She loves toys and will play with most anything you bring her. She adores being rubbed and will purr with pleasure while she flips and flops to make sure you get every spot. She's been incredibly brave and has learned to trust that we're only there to help her. Tangy would love a safe place in a home where she can settle in and relax before exploring the rest of the home. With a little patience, Tangy will be your best friend! An adoption counselor will be in contact with you following the submission of your application. If approved, they will arrange a meet and greet at one of our monthly trips to Chesapeake or at our shelter. Visits to the shelter are by appointment only, as we are a volunteer-run rescue organization. All PAWS dogs are spayed/neutered, and current on the vaccinations appropriate for their age. Those who are confirmed over 4 months old or older will have their rabies vaccinations. Age permitting, dogs/puppies are tested for heartworm. All are treated with flea/tick prevention and given internal parasite preventative on a regular basis. All are microchipped (for their safety and the adopter's peace of mind) as part of the adoption fee.
